Meet Snookie!

Snookie is a 1-year-old Great Pyrenees mix, possibly with a little Australian Shepherd mixed in for good measure. She was recently surrendered to us after her previous owner, who had rescued her from a bad situation as a puppy, spent a long time trying to find her a new home. Unfortunately, after exhausting all of their resources and still being unable to find the right placement, they made the difficult decision to bring Snookie to us so we could help her find the home she deserves.

Snookie is an incredibly sweet girl who absolutely loves attention and cuddles. She is good with kids, gets along well with other dogs, and rides wonderfully in the car. She's always been primarily an outdoor dog, so we think she'll need a little time, patience, and understanding as she learns what life inside a home is all about. But she's young, willing to please, and we truly believe that with the right person giving her the chance, she could thrive in just about any situation.

And honestly, if you've always liked the idea of a Great Pyrenees but have been a little intimidated by their size, Snookie might be your perfect match! She has the fluffy Pyr look and personality without being super huge. She's the kind of dog who would love nothing more than to have her own person, a comfortable place to call home, and plenty of love and attention.

Snookie has already had someone give her a second chance once. Now she's hoping someone will come along and give her the forever home she's been waiting for. She just needs someone willing to give her a chance, be patient with her as she learns, and show her that this time, she's home for good.
