DESCRIPTION

Meet Ahsoka

Not every Jedi starts out trusting the Force...Ahsoka may share a name with one of the galaxy's greatest heroes, but her story isn't about lightsaber battles. It's about courage. Like her namesake, Ahsoka is brave, kind-hearted, and carries a quiet strength beneath her gentle nature. She's still learning that not every human is a Sith Lord in disguise, so she appreciates a little patience while she decides you're part of the good guys. Once you earn that trust, though? Prepare yourself for one of the sweetest companions in the galaxy. Ahsoka is the definition of a happy-go-lucky enthusiast. She absolutely loves to play, happily bouncing around with the joy only a young pup can bring. And while she's a little cautious with new people at first, she's also discovering just how wonderful gentle hugs, soft pets, and kind voices can be. Those moments quickly become some of her favorites. She's looking for someone willing to be her Jedi Masternot to teach her how to fight, but to show her that the world is full of love, safety, and belly rubs. With a little patience and a lot of kindness, Ahsoka is going to blossom into an incredible best friend.

This beautiful 8-month-old, 41-pound Great Pyrenees found herself looking for a new beginning after her family's senior dog simply wasn't interested in sharing the houseor the spotlightwith an energetic puppy.

Ahsoka firmly believes every dog she sees has been waiting their entire life for the privilege of meeting her. Whether they share that opinion is...well...irrelevant. She bounds over like she's reuniting with a long-lost sibling after years apart. If another dog says, "I'd like some personal space," Ahsoka politely hears, "Please continue inviting me to wrestle." She's wonderfully social, incredibly playful, and occasionally needs another dog to explain the ancient concept known as boundaries. Cats? Classified by the Jedi Archives. We simply don't know. Kids? She thinks they're pretty fantastic. She's been around children ages 4, 6, 12, and 15 and happily accepts the role of loyal sidekick during playtime. That said, remember she's still building confidence. If tiny humans suddenly transform into tiny tornadoes or someone swoops in for an unexpected pet from above, she may briefly decide retreat is the wiser tactical decision. She has never responded with anything other than loveshe just occasionally needs a moment to remember she's safe. Meeting new humans is where Ahsoka's story gets a little more serious. Somewhere along the way, people weren't as kind to her as they should have been. Because of that, strangers can make her nervous. She may watch you from a distance. She may wonder if you're friend or foe. (To be fair, Order 66 taught her namesake to be cautious too.) At the end of the day, Ahsoka isn't looking for perfection. She's looking for someone willing to be patient while she discovers that the galaxy isn't nearly as scary as she once believed. Because once this young Jedi decides you're her person... You'll have a loyal companion who's ready to stand by your side through every adventure the Force has in store. May the Floof be with you. Always.

Now let's discuss life with your new Padawan. Her energy level clocks in at about an 8/10, which means she firmly believes naps are for people who have already completed every side quest in the galaxy. She absolutely loves to play, chase toys, wrestle with dog friends, and generally just have a good time. Don't worry, though; when she runs out of Jedi energy, she crashes into your lap and remembers she's actually a giant teddy bear. As far as car rides go, she'll need a little assistance getting into the car (the Jedi Council has not yet approved Force-assisted jumping), but once she's inside, she immediately assumes her official duties. Adventure level? Homebody? Please. The galaxy isn't going to explore itself. Ahsoka wants to go places, see things, sniff absolutely everything, and make sure every trail has been properly investigated. She'd happily accompany you on hikes, road trips, park visits, neighborhood strolls, or any adventure that doesn't involve sitting still for an unreasonable amount of time. She's basically the friend who texts, "What are we doing today?" before you've even opened your eyes. Favorite Things: Toys? Absolutely. They're all worthy opponents. Fetch? Surprisingly, yes! She'll happily chase after a thrown toy and bring it back, proving she occasionally believes in returning government property. Water? Classified intelligence. She has not yet disclosed her opinion. At the end of the day, Ahsoka is exactly what you'd expect from a young Jedi in training: endlessly optimistic, hilariously enthusiastic, occasionally chaotic, incredibly sweet, and still figuring out her place in the galaxy. She may not have mastered the Force......but she's already mastered stealing hearts.

Ahsoka has one request for her future family, and it's a pretty reasonable one: Please don't make her try to fit all of her zoomies into an apartment. Could she technically live in one? Sure. In the same way a podracer could technically be driven through a grocery store. It's possible...but no one involved is going to have a particularly relaxing experience. This girl was clearly issued a factory-installed hyperdrive. When the zoomies activate, she tears around the yard like the Rebel Alliance just announced free snacks at headquarters. A securely fenced yard is going to be her happy place, giving her the freedom to run, play, and burn off enough energy that she eventually remembers she also enjoys cuddling. Without that outlet, she'd probably spend her days inventing her own indoor obstacle course, and while that sounds entertaining for everyone except your furniture, we'd rather set her up for success. House training is coming along nicely. She does really well most of the time, although she'll still have an occasional accident here and there. She is also kennel trained, she quietly walks inside, curls into a fluffy little ball, and powers down faster than a battle droid after someone pulls the plug. She's also unusually quiet for a Great Pyrenees. She'll occasionally bark while playing with the other dogs outside, but otherwise she's pretty reserved. If you were hoping for a dog that announces every squirrel, butterfly, suspicious leaf, and Amazon delivery within a three-mile radius...Ahsoka appears to have skipped that chapter of the Great Pyrenees instruction manual.

If you've made it this far without whispering, "I need this fluffy Jedi in my life," we're honestly impressed. But if you think you're the Jedi Master this Padawan has been waiting for, your mission is simple.

Head over to https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app and fill out an adoption application. Once you do, we'll transmit your application directly to Ahsoka's foster family for review. (Yes, this is the official Rebel Alliance communication system. No, carrier porgs were unavailable.) Should the Force determine you're the right match, you'll need to travel to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to pick up your newest co-pilot. Sadly, Jedi teleportation, hyperspace delivery, and Wookiee-operated Uber are all still unavailable.
