Meet Hazel, a beautiful black-and-white livestock guardian mix with soulful eyes, adorable freckles, and a calm, thoughtful expression that makes everyone fall in love.

Hazel and her littermates came to rescue after their owner experienced medical issues that made it impossible to continue caring for the farm and its animals. Now this sweet girl is beginning her journey toward finding a foster home and, ultimately, a forever family of her own.

Her father is an Anatolian Shepherd mix, and her mother is a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix. Both parents have worked as livestock guardian dogs and are heartworm negative. Based on her breed mix, Hazel is expected to mature into a large to giant-sized dog, potentially weighing 80–120+ pounds as an adult.

Hazel will continue receiving age-appropriate veterinary care as she grows and prepares for adoption.
