Meet Oakley, a sweet-faced livestock guardian mix puppy who is beginning his journey toward finding a forever family.

Oakley and his littermates came to rescue after their owner experienced medical issues that made it impossible to continue caring for the farm and its animals. As a result, the puppies and both parents are now searching for loving new homes.

While we are still getting to know Oakley’s individual personality, we do know that both of his parents have worked as livestock guardian dogs. His father is an Anatolian Shepherd mix, and his mother is a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix. Based on his parentage, Oakley is expected to grow into a large to giant breed dog, potentially weighing anywhere from 80–120+ pounds as an adult.
