6 Weeks Old | Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd Mix | Future Gentle Giant
Meet Aspen, a fluffy little livestock guardian mix with giant paws, a sweet face, and a personality that’s already stealing hearts.
Aspen and her littermates entered rescue after their owner experienced medical issues that made it impossible to continue caring for the farm and its animals. While this family wasn’t expecting to say goodbye, we are committed to helping each puppy find a loving home where they can thrive.
Although we are still learning about Aspen’s individual personality, she has already shown us an adorable, happy-go-lucky side. With her playful smile and curious nature, she’s the kind of puppy who can brighten a room just by walking into it.
Aspen’s father is an Anatolian Shepherd mix, and her mother is a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix. Both parents have worked as livestock guardian dogs and are heartworm negative. Based on her breed mix, Aspen is expected to mature into a large to giant-sized dog, potentially weighing 80–120+ pounds as an adult.
Livestock guardian breeds are known for being:
🐾 Loyal and devoted to their families
🐾 Intelligent and independent thinkers
🐾 Naturally protective and watchful
🐾 Calm, confident, and steady companions
🐾 Excellent farm, acreage, and rural-property dogs when properly trained and socialized
Aspen is currently:
✔️ 6 weeks old
✔️ First puppy vaccine completed
✔️ Dewormed
✔️ Ready to move into a foster home soon
As Aspen grows, she’ll continue receiving age-appropriate veterinary care while we learn more about her personality, preferences, and ideal home. For now, we’re looking for foster families willing to help her take the next step toward a bright future.
Could Aspen be the perfect addition to your family?
