Meet Hershey!

If you’re looking for a fun-loving, playful pup who will keep you smiling and be your best buddy, Hershey might just be your guy!
Hershey loves spending time in the backyard playing with his humans and foster brothers. His absolute FAVORITE thing in the world? FRISBEE! Seriously, he LOVES it! He has a moderate energy level and enjoys getting his playtime in, but he also knows how to settle down and enjoy some well-deserved lovins. He’s a sweet boy who loves affection, slobber and all!
Hershey gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He currently lives in an all-boy dog household with pups of all sizes, including a Dachshund he loves playing with and a Pit Bull he enjoys wrestling with. He’s also met female dogs and done well with them. He’s a very agreeable guy who enjoys his canine friends and has shown no aggression toward them.
He also does well with children! Hershey lives with a 2-year-old toddler and has done well with her, and he previously lived with three older kids, too. He’s friendly with new people, although he may bark at first while he gets acquainted. He has no known cat history, so a home without cats may be the safest fit.
Hershey has lots of great qualities that make him an easy pup to love. He’s housebroken, crate trained, leash trained, and does well in the car! He can be a little mouthy in that typical puppy way, but it isn’t malicious—just something his future family should be aware of. He also isn’t a fan of people grabbing at his collar, so gentle handling and positive training will help him feel comfortable and safe.
Hershey’s dream home? A family that loves to play, enjoys spending time outdoors, and will make sure he gets opportunities to burn off his energy. He’d love a home where he can have fun with his people, enjoy the company of another friendly dog, and soak up plenty of affection.
If you have room in your heart for a playful, sweet, slightly slobbery best friend who will happily chase a frisbee all day, Hershey is ready to steal your heart!
