Valentine - Goldendoodle Dog for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

ADOPT VALENTINE!

Valentine is an approximately 2-year-old, 25-pound Doodle who started to shine the moment he left the shelter! He was completely shut down there, but in foster care, his sweet personality is coming out. His favorite thing? Getting your attention so he can roll over for belly rubs!

Valentine loves walks and is a great car companion. Since his neuter surgery, he’s shown some leash reactivity like barking but is beginning to settle down.

He has medium energy and enjoys about an hour of daily exercise, followed by plenty of snuggles and naps. A fenced yard isn’t necessary with regular walks.

Valentine LOVES other dogs! He enjoys playing and wrestling but is also happy relaxing alongside a canine friend. Another dog isn’t required, but he could benefit from having a buddy.

He’s had ZERO potty accidents in foster care! He’s learning about crate time and already chooses to go inside for naps. He loves being close to his people, so patient adopters who can help him build confidence with alone time would be ideal.

His foster recommends a home with children 12+. He’s been polite with kids at the park, but living with children hasn’t been observed. Cat compatibility is unknown.

Valentine is looking for a family who can give him love, companionship, and a little help building confidence. In return, you’ll get a playful, affectionate boy whose belly is ALWAYS available for rubs!
