Trotter - Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

ADOPT TROTTER Meet Trotter, the tiniest 6 lb Chihuahua with a BIG personality! Under 1 year old, Trotter is an incredibly affectionate, silly little puppy who loves being close to his people.

He LOVES to cuddle, be held, and give kisses. He’s great with people, has done well with kids, loves playing with other dogs, and does great with cats. Despite being only 6 lbs, he likes to remind the other dogs that he’s the boss.

Trotter is almost housebroken and making great progress. He’s still learning to feel comfortable walking on a leash and currently prefers being carried in a bag, where he feels much safer exploring the world.

One of the funniest things about Trotter is the cute noises he makes. Sometimes he sounds more like a baby than a dog! He can also be vocal when he’s excited, playing, or when people are coming and going, so he may not be the best match for an apartment.

Like any puppy, Trotter can get a little mouthy while playing, but he’s usually gentle. When playtime is over, he LOVES a good nap and somehow manages to sleep in the silliest, most flexible positions imaginable.

Trotter is tiny, loving, hilarious, and full of personality. He’ll keep you laughing with his silly ways and cute noises, then happily curl up in your arms for cuddles.
