Jetti - Labradoodle Dog for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Adopt Jetti!

Jetti is a 4-year-old, 33-pound Doodle with a heart of gold and boundless enthusiasm! After spending several weeks at ACCT, this sweet, goofy boy is making up for lost time and finding joy in just about everything.

Jetti loves being outside, whether he’s running around the backyard, going for walks, or playing fetch. Tennis balls are his absolute favorite, and when he’s not chasing one, he’s usually strolling through the house with one in his mouth. He might love walks just as much. Simply reaching for his harness triggers happy dancing and hilarious honking noises. If you’re taking too long, he’ll get his own leash from the closet and drop it in your lap. How’s that for a hint? He does well on leash, but is very strong and can tend to pull when excited. He also loves car rides, especially with the windows down and wind blowing through his fur. Jetti is very energetic and playful but settles nicely after exercise.

Jetti is also incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate. He loves being near his people, especially being held! He’ll wrap his paws around you and rest his head on your shoulder. He is dog-friendly, preferring more gentle play and companionship rather than a wrestling buddy. He’d enjoy an easygoing canine sibling or would do great as a solo dog. Cats are unknown, but he does show some prey drive with squirrels.

Jetti does great in his crate overnight, sleeping quietly until morning. His house training is progressing well, although he occasionally marked indoors at first. This has decreased significantly, with no marking since getting neutered, and he’ll benefit from continued consistency and positive reinforcement.

Jetti would thrive with an active family. Given his high energy and jumping ability, a secure fenced yard would be ideal. Also because of his energy and strength, an adult-only home or one with older dog-savvy teens is recommended.
