Honey is an adorable, friendly, and playful puppy with a zest for life that’s impossible to resist. She’s full of energy, loves chasing balls, and thrives when playing with other dogs who can match her fun-loving spirit. Whether it’s playtime in the yard or snuggles after a long day, Honey brings joy wherever she goes.

Honey was born with congenital megaesophagus, a condition where her esophagus is enlarged, making it difficult for food to reach her stomach normally. Because of this, she requires a special feeding routine—she does best with blenderized meals and needs to be held upright for about 10 minutes after eating. With this care, Honey is currently doing well and continues to grow and enjoy life.

While some puppies may improve with age, megaesophagus is often a lifelong condition that requires daily management and awareness of potential complications, such as aspiration pneumonia. Honey is looking for a committed and loving adopter who either has experience with this condition or has done extensive research and is willing to learn and provide the consistent care she needs.

Despite her medical challenges, Honey doesn’t let anything slow her down. She’s a happy, affectionate pup who just wants to play, love, and be loved in return. With the right person by her side, Honey will make an incredibly rewarding companion.
