Luna is a petite, sassy sweetheart who has already overcome more in her little life than most dogs ever should. As a young pup, she suffered serious injuries after being accidentally dropped by a child, resulting in both of her front legs being broken. She now has surgical plates in place, and while she moves about comfortably and confidently, she will always need gentle handling and a carefully managed environment to keep her safe.

Despite her past, Luna is bright, perky, and surprisingly spry. She enjoys exploring her surroundings at her own pace and has a playful spark that shines through. She also experienced significant dental disease and has since had most of her teeth removed. Because of this, she thrives on a soft food diet, which she handles with ease.

Luna is not a match for a home with children, due to her fragile size and history of injury. She will do best in a calm, stable household with adults who are steady on their feet and mindful of her small stature. A home with another small, gentle dog could be a great fit, though she would also be perfectly content as a cherished solo companion.

What Luna needs most is safety, predictability, and soft hands that understand her limits while celebrating her resilience. In return, she offers a sweet, spunky presence and the kind of quiet companionship only a small survivor like her can give.

Luna isn’t just looking for a home—she’s looking for a soft place to land for life.
