CW is a gentle little guy who is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. When he first came to us, he had very little socialization, so new people and experiences can feel a bit overwhelming for him. Because of this, CW tends to be cautious at first and prefers to take things at his own pace.

But underneath that shy exterior is a truly sweet soul. With a little patience and kindness, CW begins to open up—and when he does, it’s incredibly rewarding. Once he trusts you, he enjoys gentle pets and absolutely lights up for treats (they’re definitely the way to his heart!).

CW gets along well with other mellow dogs his size and would likely thrive in a calm home with a confident but easygoing canine companion to help show him the ropes. He may need a little time before he’s comfortable being picked up, but with consistency and understanding, he continues to make progress.

CW’s ideal home is quiet, patient, and low-key—one that will give him the time he needs to build confidence and feel secure. In return, you’ll gain a loyal, tender-hearted companion who just needs someone to believe in him.
