Hey… I’m Goose. 🐾

Before my rescue, before someone finally stopped for me… I was completely lost. I’d approach cars, bystanders, anyone. Nobody would take me. 💔

Sadly, by the time CCFP got to me, I was in alot of pain, a car had ran over my paw. It hurt me in so many ways. I truly had given up on anyone coming to my rescue.

And still… as soon as I was scooped up, I trusted… this time would be different.

And it was. ❤️

The vets worked hard to save my leg—and they did. I still have it, and I’m learning to use it more every day. I balance on it, I walk on it sometimes, and I’m getting stronger. I just need someone to keep an eye on it and make sure it stays clean and healthy.

But can I tell you something?

That paw doesn’t define me.

Because I still run.
I still play.
I still LOVE with everything in me.

I’m about a year old and 43 pounds of pure, gentle soul.

🐾 Leash trained
🐾 I know some basic commands
🐾 I ride great in the car
🐾 I love a cozy couch (and yes… I might steal your seat while you’re gone 😌)
🐾 I’ll sleep in bed with you if you let me

And my absolute FAVORITE thing?

Little dogs.

I adore them. They can climb all over me, curl up next to me, boss me around—I don’t care. I’m so gentle and so patient with them. They’re my comfort.

And people?
Oh… I love my person.

I’ll sit and wait for you… watch for you… choose you every single time.

I’m not a high-maintenance dog. I’m not chaotic. I’m just… good.
The kind of dog that makes you wonder how in the world I was ever overlooked.

But I was.

Until now.
