Meet Sunkeeper!
Meet Sunkeeper, an 8-month-old, spayed female beauty! At a compact 30 lbs (and expected to max out around 40 lbs), she is the perfect medium size for cuddles on the couch or cozy lap naps. Sunkeeper can be a bit hesitant and timid in new situations, but underneath her gentle nervousness is a incredibly sweet girl who desperately wants to be close to her people and snuggle. With a supportive family willing to offer patience, a little training, and positive encouragement, Sunkeeper will quickly build her confidence and bloom into the brave, outgoing, absolute gem of a companion she's meant to be!
Due to MA Dept of Agriculture restrictions, we can not adopt to MA residents.
ABOUT: GOLDEN RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The Golden Retriever is a friendly, intelligent, and gentle dog breed known for its golden colored, water repellent coat. They are highly sociable and great with families, children, and other pets, making them popular as therapy and service dogs. With a love for outdoor activities and water, Golden Retrievers excel in various dog sports like agility and obedience. They require regular exercise, mental stimulation, and grooming to maintain their health and happiness. Overall, the Golden Retriever is a versatile and beloved companion dog breed.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
