BEN - Golden Retriever Dog for Adoption in Louisville, Kentucky

Ben is a beautiful, boisterous, fun young pup. Ben is, 18 months old, housetrained and walks well on a leash. He loves his daily swim in the GRRAND pool! He is still very much a big puppy!

When he was first purchased from a breeder his owners left him crated 18 hours a day; consequently Ben does not like being restricted to a small space.

We have had no issues with him at the kennel, but our volunteers are experienced dog people.The kennel volunteers take him on field trips to the park and for pup cups! He rides great in a car. He has also spent time with a trainer who will continue to support Ben once he's in a home.

Ben needs a strong, experienced dog person who wants to exercise Ben a lot. A fenced yard where he can run off that puppy energy is a must. He's so energetic we don't believe he can go with young children. Ben really is a special boy. He's a kennel favorite, and the volunteers don't understand why this sweet, handsome boy isn't in a good home.
