DESCRIPTION
Buckeye is a neutered male German Shepherd Mix who is looking for a new home. He is 3 years old and came to the shelter after his former owner had a relationship split. He is good with kids according to his former owner, and they also said he was used to being with other dogs. However, here at the shelter he has not been happy with any of the dogs and prefers to be by himself. We are unsure how he is with cats. Buckeye is house-trained and walks well on a leash. If you're interested in meeting her/him please call (419) 294-4477 Ext. 3 from 9AM-5PM to schedule an appointment.
WCHS Adoptions are a 2-Step Process
Step 1— Visit our shelter! (Appointments Required)
The animal of your choice will be reserved for you at the time of scheduling. (Prospective adopters may be shown multiple animals, subject to availability.)
Step 2— Pick up your new pet!
Pickups are generally 3-5 business days after completing adoption paperwork at your in-person appointment. This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.)
