Chihuahua Dogs Available for Adoption in Upper Sandusky, Ohio

Turbo is a male Chihuahua mix who is looking for a new home. He came to the shelter because he was not doing well in his new home with their children or dogs. He has done ok here at the shelter with his kennel mates, but would prefer to be the only dog in his new house. Turbo is working on his house-training and leash training while he hangs out here at the shelter. He also has a old injury to his eye which we do not have any information about it. WCHS Adoptions are a 2-Step Process

Step 1— Visit our shelter! (Appointments Required)
The animal of your choice will be reserved for you at the time of scheduling. (Prospective adopters may be shown multiple animals, subject to availability.)

Step 2— Pick up your new pet!
Pickups are generally 3-5 business days after completing adoption paperwork at your in-person appointment. This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.)

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature.
