Pluto - German Shepherd Dog and Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Stephenville, Texas

The Planet Puppies came to us as owner surrenders after their previous family was no longer able to care for them. Since arriving at the shelter, they have come a long way, but they are still timid and unsure of the world around them.
These sweet pups are learning that people aren't so scary, but they will need patient, understanding families willing to give them the time and encouragement they need to build their confidence. Getting out of the shelter environment and into a loving home, along with positive reinforcement training and socialization, will go a long way in helping them blossom!
The Planet Puppies are dog-friendly and may benefit from having a confident canine companion to help show them the ropes. However, they have shown some resource guarding tendencies around food, so their future families will need to be mindful of feeding arrangements and work with them on building positive mealtime habits.
Like any young puppy, they will also need time, patience, and consistency when it comes to potty training and learning household manners.
Pluto has received 2 of his 3 DHPP vaccinations, a microchip, and has started dewormer. His neuter will be scheduled at the time of adoption.
These pups may need a little extra reassurance in the beginning, but with love, patience, and guidance, they have so much potential to become wonderful companions. If you're willing to help a shy puppy come out of their shell, one of the Planet Puppies might be the perfect addition to your family!
