Hi, I'm Harlo]!

I'm a 9-12-month-old German Shepherd/Aussie-ish mix, currently around 60 pounds, and I may still have some growing left to do! I have the build of a German Shepherd and the nub nail and soft fur of an aussie. Basically, I'm a whole lot of puppy packed into a very large body, and I haven't quite figured out what to do with all of it yet.

Let's get one thing straight: I mean well, I really do! I'm just a LOT right now. I have energy to spare, enthusiasm for days, and training manners that are still very much a work in progress. I'm at that adolescent age where my body is big, my brain is busy, and my impulse control hasn't caught up. I'm not trying to be a troublemaker; I just need someone to teach me how to channel all this excitement into something productive!

My ideal home will be ready to commit to daily exercise, mental enrichment, consistent training, and plenty of patience. Think leash manners, basic obedience, polite greetings, impulse control, and learning that I don't have to be involved in absolutely everything, all the time. A large yard can be helpful, but it won't replace the training and engagement I need.

Because I'm already a big guy and may get bigger, my future family should be prepared for a large, energetic adult dog. I'll need someone who can handle my size and enthusiasm while helping me grow into a well-mannered companion.
