DESCRIPTION
Meet Poppy ,Ears cocked half up, head tilted, taking it all in... that is Poppy. This girl is always listening to the world around her, and she does not miss a thing.
Born around June 17, 2026, Poppy is a smart, curious Shepherd mix baby. She can be a little shy at first with new people and new places, but her curiosity wins out fast and she is soon right in the middle of things. She is not a big talker. You will get a small alert when someone is at the door, and that is about it.
Poppy loves to run, bounce, and play outside, and she can really move when she has room to stretch her legs. Balls and squeaky toys are favorites, and she LOVES to play in water. When the fun is done, she wants to come back inside and be with her people, ideally for a whole body scratch.
She is great with dogs of all sizes and ages, good with kids, and kind to cats. She is a big, bouncy puppy who would love to play with her kitty housemates, but she has always been very gentle with them and takes correction well. She also goes in her pen on command (a little treat helps).
Poppy is expected to be a medium to large dog as an adult, and she is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations.
