Sis is a beautiful German Shepherd with a loyal heart and a loving personality. She is incredibly affectionate with her family, enjoys being close to her people, and is happiest when she is out for a walk or spending time with those she loves.

Smart, obedient, and eager to please, Sis thrives with structure and forms deep bonds with her owner. She loves to learn commands and already knows sit, lay down, and give paw. Sis is also fully house trained.

Sis' good qualities :
Extremely affectionate and loyal to her family.
Intelligent and obedient
Loves walks, hikes, and outdoor adventures
Enjoys toys and interactive play
Can be friendly with strangers after a proper introduction
Can live with another dog when introductions are slow and carefully managed

Sis' trouble areas :
Absolutely do not touch her nose and whiskers or place your hand near these area, until you have formed a bond and trust.
No children home preferred. She doesn't mind children, but she hates strangers going up too close to her face and/or touch her. Sometimes children do that unknowingly, therefore a no-kid home is best.
She has a strong prey drive and cannot live with cats or other small animals.

Sis would thrive with an active family looking for a loyal companion.

Sis has a confident, dominant personality around other dogs. If placed with another dog, she has done best with calm, submissive, or more timid dogs after slow, structured introductions. She would also be very happy as an only pet.

German Shepherd experience is a plus, but more importantly, Sis needs an adopter who understands the breed and can provide structure, leadership, and appropriate introductions with other dogs.

Sis is deeply devoted to her person and loves being part of the family. If you are looking for an affectionate, intelligent, and active companion to share walks, adventures, and everyday life, Sis has so much love to give to the right home.

Sis is currently being fostered in Texas but is able to go to anywhere in the States and even in Canada to the right home. Transport can be arranged for approved adopters.

Yards MUST BE adequately and fully and adequately fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences.

Sis currently weighs about 45 lbs and is fully vetted, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and kept on heartworm and flea prevention.

Sis' adoption fee of $400 includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, and harness. Transport fees out of Houston can range from $200 - $350 depending on destination and her size.

Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them.

Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible.
