ECHO IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA.

Echo is looking for a new beginning after his owner sadly passed away from cancer. She had originally rescued him from Texas, but when she passed, her family had too much on their plate to keep him. They wanted to make sure Echo had the opportunity to find another loving home, so he made his way into rescue.

Echo is a calm, mellow dog who enjoys the simple things in life. He loves being brushed, spending time outdoors, and soaking up attention from his people. While he enjoys affection, he isn't overly needy. One of the best things about Echo is that he matches the energy of those around himif you're relaxing, he'll happily relax with you, and if you're ready to head outside, he's happy to join you.

Echo is potty trained, crate trained, and knows the commands "sit" and "kennel." He is still learning leash manners and tends to walk in circles rather than pulling, but with a little patience and consistency, he's making progress.

Echo has done well with another dog in his foster home. However, because he has a strong instinct to chase moving animals, he is not a good fit for a home with cats. He enjoys chasing rabbits, deer, and other fast-moving critters, so a securely fenced yard or careful leash management will be important.

Echo's foster describes him as mellow, affectionate, and easy to live with. He's looking for a family that will appreciate his calm nature and give him the love and stability he deserves after losing the person he loved.

Echo is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $450.

If you're interested in giving Echo the loving forever home he deserves, please complete our adoption application linked below. Thank you for considering adoption!
