Billy - Labrador Retriever and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Dysart, Iowa

BILLY IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA.

Billy is one of four puppies who were found dumped on a rural road in Oklahoma. Thankfully, one of our volunteers found them before anything happened and got them to safety. Now Billy is enjoying life in foster care and looking for a forever family of his own.

Billy is an approximately 4-month-old Lab mix with an outgoing, fun-loving personality. He is a happy puppy who seems to love everyone and everything he encounters. Whether hes playing with toys, romping around with other dogs, or seeking out attention from his people, Billy is always ready for his next adventure.

Billy does well with dogs, cats, and kids. He is crate trained and is currently working on potty training and leash manners. Like most puppies his age, he is still learning the basics, but he is eager to please and making progress every day. He already knows down and is ready to continue learning more with a family committed to helping him grow.

Billy is energetic, playful, and full of puppy enthusiasm. He would thrive in a home that can provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and opportunities to continue building his confidence and skills.

Adoption Information: All puppies have typical energy levels and require a dedicated adopter who is willing to invest time and effort into training. While we strive to start the potty-training process, please keep in mind that puppies this age are not guaranteed to be fully house trained. This is an excellent age to introduce him to children and other animals, as early socialization is key to his development!

Billy will be adopted under a neuter contract, with an adoption fee of $500. $100 of this fee will be reimbursed upon proof of neuter. He is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped.

Since most of our animals are found as strays, we cannot guarantee breed or age. Breed and age are decided based on our experience as well as veterinarian advice.
