Callie - German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Caldwell, Texas

Callie is very affectionate and just an overall sweet old girl!

She does struggle with some arthritis at her senior age along with having hardly any teeth at this point in her life.

Callie came from a breeder after a house fire. All of the dogs were relinquished to us with a promise she was done breeding. Due to being outside without proper vet care and multiple breedings, she just kind of aged not so great. She does currently have some shaved spots along her back from coming into our care matted.

She is heartworm positive but already started on slow kill treatment. The rescue will continue to provide her treatment at no cost to her adopter until she tests negative.

When we say she is absolutely the sweetest ole girl, we truly mean it. She loves everyone and is so gentle and calm. She would make an excellent companion for an older person or couple looking for a loving couch potato to share their days with.
