Say hello to Cliff! This handsome Shepherd of about 3 yrs of age came in as a stray but we are sure he had a residence prior to shelter life. He is a large stature lad that can be a bit aloof on first meets but will bond with his person once he creates that repoire that this breed is known for. Cliff has shown he enjoys games of fetch with a tennis ball, happily trots to retrieve it and will drop for a throw for another one. He does know sit, does enjoy a good treat or two, and is up for learning more cool things in a home with his new human best friend.
He does have the typical Shepherd “alerting” bark, and will do perimeter checks in the yard.

Cliff did pass his initial dog/dog assessment but will need a meet with any resident dog in a home. Shepherds tend to be in charge type of dogs, and some just enjoy co-existing rather than play so this is why we require a meets.

An owner that has experience with this breed, or large breed dogs with similar traits is preferred. He will require regular grooming, exercise and correct guidance/leadership to make him feel he is doing a good job.

If you feel you can add Cliff to your life, send an email to the above address.
