Rebel Without A Cause
Feline, 5.5 months, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative
Let's get one thing straight: Rebel is not named after the James Dean movie for nothing. She has the attitude, the mystique, and the complete unwillingness to be handled that the role demands.
Here's her deal — she does not like people. Not one. Not you, not your mom, not the nicest person you know. She will hiss. She will swat. She will make you feel deeply misunderstood, and she will not care. If you reach into her space expecting a cuddle, prepare to be humbled.
BUT. Give her a cat sibling, and Rebel transforms into an entirely different animal. Literally sprints out of hiding, tail up, ready to wrestle, chase feather wands, and ambush little mice toys like she's training for the Olympics. She has one foster sibling in particular she adores, and watching her come alive for another cat is basically the only time you get to see the "real" Rebel — playful, silly, and shockingly not terrifying.
She's also, weirdly, a big fan of dogs (chill ones), an excellent litter box user, and a certified Churu connoisseur, because even mysterious loners have a price.
What Rebel needs:
- A home with an existing cat who wants a companion (this is non-negotiable — cats are her love language, humans are not)
- Zero expectations of lap time, holding, or affection directed at you personally
- Patience for a cat who lives entirely on her own terms
NOT a home with young children hoping for a snuggly kitten — that is not this cat
Rebel isn't looking for a person to love her. She's looking for a feline roommate to run wild with while you handle the very important job of refilling the food bowl and staying out of her way. If you have a cat who's a little lonely and you're okay being furniture, Rebel might just be your (very indirect) new family member.
