Meet Leo - he has a story to tell.

Leo did not get a good start in life and was delt a bad hand. Leo lived in a tiny crate in a tent in a homeless encampment. He was not afforded the time to be a puppy - and to learn how to play and enjoy life as a puppy. Luckily, we found out about Leo and he was surrendered to us.

Leo is a 10-month-old shepherd mix boy - full of energy and play. He has spent the last month with us learning how to be a happy and playful puppy.

Leo is gonna be a big boy - strong and healthy and has lots and lots of energy.

He plays well with other dogs but does like to rough-house and would be best in a home with another large, friendly and playful pup or some older kids to play with.

This boy is not suited for apartment or trailer park living - he needs space to run and play. Fenced yard will be required for this boy. Large active dog experience will also be required.

This boy is really a great dog - smart, friendly and badly wants to please his people.

He is absolutely stunning!! We estimate that he should be around 75lbs when fully grown. Leo is working hard on his potty training and gives clues when he needs to go out. He is learning from his new BFF, Moose. Leo is learning how to walk on leash and basic commands like sit and stay. He is very treat driven but has NO food aggression
