Betsy Ross (Betsy) - American Staffordshire Terrier Dog for Adoption in Amelia, Ohio

Sweet little Betsy Ross (Betsy) and her friend Lady Liberty (Libby) were found by a good Samaritan on July 3 - they had been dumped behind a local grocery story, left to die.

The kind woman that found them promptly put them in her car where they could cool down (it was 96degrees that day) and call us.

It was touch and go for the first 24 hours, but we immediately provided emergency vet care for them.

Both these adorable girls are feeling all better now and are happy and bouncy girls!

Betsy is likely around 12 weeks old now - has received her baby shots and has gotten a clean bill of health from our vets!

Betsy appears to be an American Staffordshire mix girl - with the most beautify eyes! She is a bit more shy than her friend Libby but is quickly learning to explore her new world and has come out of her shell.

This adorable girl is so sweet....very food driven (both puppies were emaciated and dehydrated when they arrived) - she will do anything for a treat and is learning to sit if offered a treat.

She will likely be around 40lbs when grown and is a really good puppy - please be the one to give her a safe and loving fur-ever home of her own. She plays well with other pups and likes kiddos. She is working on her house training.

Adoption fee includes all her puppy shots, worming, microchip with a lifetime registration and a pre-paid voucher that covers the cost of her spay at our vet. (spay to be done between 22-26 weeks of age).
