Alaska - German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption

Meet Alaska

Alaska came from Dallas Animal Services, where he was saved at the last minute after his owners brought him in to be euthanized. His body showed the neglect he had endured, but his sweet spirit remained strong.

About 12 years old and now heartworm negative, Alaska enjoys leisurely strolls and resting his old bones in a soft bed. Despite everything he has been through, his outlook on life remains bright! He loves belly rubs and any affection—he is a big mush!

Alaska gets along with all animals and is crate trained. He even loves to “chase” balls, though his speed is more like molasses! His back legs aren’t as strong as they once were, so he needs someone patient who will let him move at his own pace.

Located in Danbury, CT.

This gentle senior deserves a loving home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by comfort and kindness.
