Penelope is a stunning girl that we just couldn't pass up in the shelter. She was a staff favorite and always in the play yard helping new dogs arriving to the shelter and scared dogs. She has a fun, light, playful and sweet personality that helps other dogs feel at ease.

- 64 pounds and approximately 3 years old

- Excellent with other dogs large and small. Takes correction well if a dog isn't interested in interacting. Gentle with old dogs and has a nice play style with younger dogs.

- Good with cats and gives them lots of space. She is fostered with two cats and has done well.

- Good with kids. She was fostered in California with a toddler and was appropriate and sweet to the child.

- Crate trained

- Excellent potty habits

- Not leash reactive and is willing to say hi to new people on walks

- Very cuddly! Loves to give people gentle hugs and even crawl in their lap. She is a very affectionate dog who is attentive to her humans.

- Nice medium energy and knows how to settle in the home but can also be active when you want.

- Water dog! She went in the in ground pool at her California foster home all on her own to fetch a toy.

Penelope is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested negative, current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee also includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Tualatin or Portland.
