Chihuahua and Dachshund Dogs Available for Adoption in Beavercreek, Oregon

Sabine was found in California as a stray dumped with a group of dogs. She has had a happy, friendly temperament since the moment Animal Control found her and brought her to their shelter. We were so happy to get Sabine out of the shelter and into our program where she can be in a cozy foster home until she finds her new family.

- 9.5 pounds

- Possibly a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix

- Friendly, affectionate, happy to interact with people. Super loving little dog!

- Great with other dogs

- Likely fine with cats but we can test her further if needed

- Was fostered with a toddler and was appropriate. We think kids ages 8+ would be best just because Sabine is so small.

- Good in her crate

- Zero potty accidents while in foster care

- Not a chewer and hasn't been destructive in the home

- She does bark when new people come to the home but that is pretty typical of many small dogs. But it is something her adopter may need to work with her on.

- Loves to zoom in the yard and sniff to her little heart's content

- She's eager to burrow under the blankets right next to her person and relax and nap too

- Truly a little gem of a dog!

Sabine is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, dewormed, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Portland, Milwaukie or Tualatin.
