Chihuahua Dogs Available for Adoption in Beavercreek, Oregon

Dixie has such a soft, kind, gentle temperament. If you are looking for a true Velcro dog that will be by your side always and loves to cuddle and be with you, Dixie is a wonderful prospect!

Dixie was found running as a stray for weeks in a California neighborhood. She had a large hernia that was bulging from her stomach area. We were able to catch Dixie and get her the surgery to fix the hernia so she is all better now.

- 9 pounds and approximately 3 years old

- Likely a Chihuahua mix

- Good with other dogs and has lived with dogs of all sizes and sexes. She is more interested in people than dogs. She most likely won't be a playful companion to another dog. She hasn't been too interested in playing with other dogs so far.

- Likely fine with cats (she is a very gentle, easy going little dog) but we have not officially tested her with them

- Kids ages 8+ if there are kids in the home

- Walks nicely on leash

- Lower energy girl who is content with a walk a day and lots of snuggles and companionship.

- Does well in a crate

- Good on car rides and is learning that they lead to fun things

Dixie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, dewormed and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee also includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Portland or Tualatin.
