DESCRIPTION
Meet David
David is a 9-week-old Shepherd mix puppy who is ready to find his forever home — or a foster home to help him continue growing into the wonderful pup he’s meant to be!
This happy, healthy boy has already started his vaccine protocol and is thriving. Out of his litter, David is the most independent, but he still has the sweetest disposition. He loves to play with his stuffies and happily entertains himself before coming over for cuddles and attention.
David is doing great with house training and will still need continued patience and consistency with potty training, crate training, and learning puppy basics like walking on a leash. He does great with kids and would be happy either as an only dog or with canine companions.
He is expected to grow into a large dog when fully grown and is looking for a family ready for all the fun, love, and adventure that comes with raising a Shepherd mix puppy.
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
ABOUT: GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG DOG BREED
The German Shepherd Dog, known for its intelligence, loyalty, and versatility, is a popular and highly regarded breed worldwide. This breed excels in various roles such as police work, search and rescue, and assistance for individuals with disabilities. German Shepherd Dogs are strong, agile, and confident with a distinctive double coat that can be straight or wavy. Their character is marked by courage, loyalty, and a strong work ethic, making them ideal companions and protectors for families and professionals alike.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
