Amber is a gorgeous black-and-white German Shepherd, and even at six years young, this precious gal is full of life. She loves to play, stay engaged, and look after her people — classic working-dog devotion wrapped in a stunning package. Like many shepherds, she thrives when her mind and body stay busy, and she’s more than ready for a family who appreciates her drive. Out in the yard, she recently found a ball, proudly picked it up, trotted over, and dropped it right into our hand — the perfect invitation to play fetch. And of course, we did. She really has the best fetch manners I’ve seen! She drops automatically, so it easy to play with her, even for newbies! She is charming, focused, and so much fun. If you adore the working breeds and can keep this sweet girl active, enriched, and happy, Amber might be your perfect match. She’s loving, loyal, and so ready for her next chapter.
ABOUT: GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG DOG BREED
The German Shepherd Dog, known for its intelligence, loyalty, and versatility, is a popular and highly regarded breed worldwide. This breed excels in various roles such as police work, search and rescue, and assistance for individuals with disabilities. German Shepherd Dogs are strong, agile, and confident with a distinctive double coat that can be straight or wavy. Their character is marked by courage, loyalty, and a strong work ethic, making them ideal companions and protectors for families and professionals alike.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
