Meet Xavier! He's a gentle and charming cat who willĀpress his face into your palm like it's the best place in the world and roll around in pure contentment for pets. He's a great buddy if you work from home as he loves the clip-on desk bed. He's also tolerant of the resident cat, even sharing a couple of nose boops here and there. Xavier would do best in a calm home with owners who are ready to shower him in love and attention.

We are DC's only open-access shelter. We are always available to help any animal in the District of Columbia. We have cats, dogs, rabbits, and more available for adoption out of our two shelters and also run the Capital Area Spay and Neuter Center.
