DESCRIPTION

Meet Veda! A Perfectly playful puppy whose entire approach to life is basically:
“Wait… we can PLAY in that too?!”

Mud puddle? Amazing.
New dog friend? Incredible.
Couch cuddles afterward? Best day ever.

This girl is pure sunshine wrapped in velvet fur and giant mismatched ears.

And honestly, her ears deserve their own paragraph. One stands straight up like she’s trying to contact aliens, while the other just flops dramatically to the side like it forgot there was a meeting. They are way too big for her body right now, which somehow makes her ten times cuter. Combined with her soft little puppy face and warm brown eyes, she genuinely looks like a cartoon character that somebody accidentally brought to life.

Watch Veda's video here to see her in action!
https://youtu.be/iAzvun5hoJU?si=cnoOXPs-AoEbv2aZ

Veda is the kind of puppy who makes EVERYTHING feel exciting. She doesn’t just walk through life, she fully launches herself into it with joy. During her assessment, she discovered the flooded muddy yard and immediately decided it was the greatest place on earth. She was zooming through puddles, splashing everywhere, rolling around, and trying to convince every dog in the yard to come join her muddy water party. By the end she had turned herself from a white puppy into a brown puppy and could not have been prouder of herself.

She would absolutely LOVE an adventurous home. Hiking trails, beach days, camping trips, lake weekends, backyard sprinkler time, long walks exploring new places. Veda is the kind of dog who wants to experience life WITH her people. She’s curious, playful, outgoing, and just genuinely thrilled to be included in things.

But what makes her extra special is that underneath all the puppy chaos and muddy zoomies… she is SUCH a cuddle bug.

The second playtime was over, Veda came inside, climbed right onto the couch, leaned against us for affection, and completely melted into cuddles. Belly rubs? Perfect. Head scratches? Incredible. Being told she’s the prettiest girl in the world while half asleep on the couch? Her favorite activity.

She really has this amazing balance where she can spend an hour running around outside like a tiny athlete and then immediately transform into the softest sweetest snuggle baby imaginable.

And DOGS??? Oh my gosh this puppy LOVES dogs.

She greeted every single dog with the cutest little play bows and was amazing at adjusting her play style depending on who she was with. Big confident dogs, goofy playful dogs, shy dogs, smaller dogs, she loved them all. She gives major “daycare” energy because she’s playful without being rude and super good at reading social cues for such a young puppy. When a smaller dog didn’t want to play with her, she immediately backed off respectfully like:
“Understood, tiny sir.”

And her CAT test was ridiculously cute too. She was sweet, respectful, curious, and even exchanged little face licks with the cat. No chasing, no obsessing, no chaos — just pure friendly puppy energy. We’d absolutely further test her with a puppy sleepover to be sure, but all signs are pointing to kitty friendly gal.

Veda could definitely do well in an apartment with an active family because she loves outings and adventures, but she would absolutely THRIVE in a home where she gets to explore, play, and be involved in everyday life. Bonus points if there’s water nearby because this girl genuinely believes puddles are a personality trait.

She hasn’t officially been kid-tested yet, but she did meet a child briefly and was super sweet and excited. Since she’s still a big playful puppy who jumps when excited, we’d probably recommend older or dog-savvy kiddos while she continues learning manners. And no worries, we can always do further kid testing for potential adopters!

Veda is currently in a loving foster home where she’s doing absolutely wonderful. She’s happy, thriving, and showing more of her beautiful personality every day. She also loves treats and is very treat motivated, which will make training and continued growth such a rewarding experience for her future family.

Veda feels like one of those dogs that turns ordinary life into fun. She’s adventurous, hilarious, affectionate, socially smart, wildly lovable, and completely full of joy. She’s the type of puppy that will probably convince her future family to pull over during road trips just so she can splash in a random creek she spotted from the window.
