Lola - Fox Terrier and Cattle Dog Dog for Adoption in Yakima, Washington

Meet Lola, a three-year-old Red Heeler/Cattle Dog mix weighing 36 pounds.

Lola is a very sweet girl with a gentle personality and an eagerness to please. At a wonderful medium size, she's big enough to join you on adventures but compact enough to fit comfortably into many different lifestyles.

Lola enjoys her walks and does well on a leash, making her a great companion for daily outings. The people who found her reported that she got along well with their dog, suggesting she may enjoy a canine friend in her future home. However, Lola would do best in a home without cats.

Lola does have a slight limp in one of her back legs, which may be the result of an old injury that has healed. She doesn't let it dampen her spirits, and we will have her evaluated by our veterinarian before adoption so her new family has the most up-to-date information about her health.

Based on her appearance and personality, Lola may have some Australian Cattle Dog in her. Cattle Dogs are known for being intelligent, loyal, and devoted companions who enjoy having a job to do and being involved in family activities. They are eager learners who often form strong bonds with their people, and Lola certainly seems to share that desire to connect and please.
