Meet Ace, a two month old Lab/Chihuahua mix weighing eight pounds.

Ace is a shy but sweet puppy who is just beginning his journey in life. He came to us through our My Last Litter program, which helps reduce pet overpopulation by spaying mom dogs while also finding loving homes for their puppies. His mom is a Lab mix, and dad is believed to be a smaller dog, possibly a Chihuahua mix—so Ace and his littermates are likely a fun blend of many breeds, and it will be exciting to watch them grow.

Ace has shorter legs like some of his siblings, and a gentle, reserved personality. He is on the shy side and may take a little time to warm up in new situations, but with patience and kindness, he has the potential to build confidence and blossom into a wonderful companion.

Like all puppies, Ace will need continued socialization, training, and structure as he grows. Positive early experiences with new people, places, sounds, and other animals will be especially important in helping him develop into a confident, well-rounded adult dog.

Ace is looking for a patient, loving home that understands puppy development and is ready to help him grow at his own pace with consistency, encouragement, and care.
