DESCRIPTION
Meet Hamm! This sweet boy is aptly named, as he truly is a ham who loves attention and getting lots of love. Hamm is a 5-year-old, 78-pound, Olde English Bulldogge mix who first came to the shelter and was adopted as a tiny puppy five years ago. Check out the second picture in this post to see baby Hamm! Hamm sadly returned to the shelter due to major changes in his previous family's life. This boy is ready to find his new home and make new friends! He loves people of all ages, other dogs, and cats! He knows how to "sit" and "get down" and is fully potty trained. He loves playing tug of war and play wrestling with his people. Come Meet Hamm Tuesdays through Sundays from 8:30 to 5:00 if you're looking for a medium-energy friend who would love to adventure and lounge with you! Hamm is neutered, microchipped, and available for foster to adopt until he's scheduled for a vaccination update at The Babinski Foundation.
ABOUT: ENGLISH BULLDOG DOG BREED
The English Bulldog is a distinctive and beloved breed known for its sturdy build, wrinkled face, and gentle temperament. Originating in England, these dogs are characterized by their muscular frame, powerful jaw, and unique pushed in nose. Despite their tough appearance, English Bulldogs are affectionate, loyal, and great with children, making them excellent family pets. Due to their brachycephalic nature, they may struggle with overheating and breathing issues, requiring attentive care and moderate exercise to keep them healthy and happy.
The English Setter is a graceful and elegant hunting dog known for its distinctive feathered coat, which comes in various color combinations such as orange, blue, or lemon belton. These dogs are friendly, affectionate, and sociable, making them excellent family pets. English Setters are energetic and require regular exercise to be happy and healthy. With their keen sense of smell and natural hunting instincts, they excel in fieldwork and dog sports thanks to their enthusiastic nature and quick intelligence.
