MEET GEORGE & WISHES
6 weeks old 6 lbs
Found in Dadeville, Al
These two tiny babies have already been through more in their short lives than any puppy ever should.
They were found together, trying to survive alone in the wild. They are just babies... yet somehow, they only had each other.
GEORGE
Our little boy is in critical condition. His HCT was less than 10%, meaning he was severely anemic. He was also hypoglycemic, dehydrated, and absolutely loaded with hookworms.
Thankfully, George tested negative for Parvo, and his organs are still functioning normally.
He received a 60 mL fresh whole blood transfusion and is now on IV fluids and medications. We are praying that his little body responds and that he gets stronger.
WISHES
Our little girl isn't quite as sick as her brother, but she is also loaded with hookworms. Thankfully, she is not anemic and is eating well. She is currently receiving oral medications.
AND BOTH BABIES...
They are covered in demodex and have a severe skin infection.
These babies already have my heart completely wrapped around their tiny paws.
I can't imagine what they must be feeling. They should be playing, cuddling, and sleeping in warm beds. Instead, they were left to fend for themselves, hungry and sick, with only each other to keep them company.
My heart just can't take it anymore.
All I want to do is scoop them up, cuddle them, and rock them to sleep.
But right now, they need medical care, supplies, and prayers.
PLEASE HELP US HELP GEORGE & WISHES.
They will need a foster home once they are healthy enough to leave the vet. We will provide their beds, blankets, and everything we can to help them get settled.
