Meet Scruffy

This sweet little guy is Scruffy, and he's ready for the second chance he deserves.

Scruffy was found abandoned at an apartment complex in Alexander City, where he had been wandering around for an entire month. He was surrendered to New Hope Rescue Monday morning, and we are so thankful he is finally safe.

Scruffy is an approximately 10-year-old senior gentleman who weighs 16 pounds. Overall, he's in pretty good shape-but his teeth are in terrible condition. He has a severe infection in his mouth and will need all of his teeth extracted. He is scheduled for his dental tomorrow.

Already neutered
Vaccinated
Microchipped

And the BEST news? Scruffy is incredibly sweet and loving. He's just an older little guy looking for a soft place to sleep, a warm lap, and someone who will love him for the rest of his life.
