DESCRIPTION
If you've ever wished for a couch potato with extra wrinkles and a side of snuggles, Petunia is ready to make your dreams come true.
Petunia is a 4-year-old English Bulldog who weighs about 40 pounds and has been lovingly described as "a potato in dog form." This sweet girl is as easygoing as they come. She's happiest when she's lounging nearby, soaking up affection, and enjoying the simple pleasures in life, like belly rubs, cozy naps, and spending time with her people.
Petunia has a gentle, loving personality that makes her an easy companion. She does well with other dogs, though we'll arrange a dog introduction to make sure everyone is a good match. Her calm and friendly nature also suggests she'd do well with respectful children.
If you're looking for a low-key best friend who specializes in cuddles, companionship, and professional-level relaxation, Petunia may be the perfect addition to your family. Her minimum adoption fee is $400 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.

ABOUT: ENGLISH BULLDOG DOG BREED
The English Bulldog is a distinctive and beloved breed known for its sturdy build, wrinkled face, and gentle temperament. Originating in England, these dogs are characterized by their muscular frame, powerful jaw, and unique pushed in nose. Despite their tough appearance, English Bulldogs are affectionate, loyal, and great with children, making them excellent family pets. Due to their brachycephalic nature, they may struggle with overheating and breathing issues, requiring attentive care and moderate exercise to keep them healthy and happy.
