Meet Jonty, a 2-year-old Miniature Poodle mix who weighs in at a petite 10 pounds. This handsome little guy is looking for a special someone who understands that the best things in life are worth waiting for.
Jonty can be a bit shy and nervous when meeting new people or experiencing new situations. The world feels like a pretty big place to this little guy, and he's hoping to find a patient family willing to help him build his confidence at his own pace. Once he learns you're part of his safe circle, you'll have a loyal companion cheering you on from his favorite cozy spot.

Because of his sensitive nature, Jonty would do best in a quieter home where life moves at a gentler pace. Older, respectful children who understand when a dog needs space could be a great fit for him. His ideal family will celebrate the small victories, offer plenty of encouragement, and let him blossom into the dog he's meant to be.

Jonty is heartworm positive and has begun treatment. Wish Bone will continue to provide the treatment, whether that's through our vet or by providing medication to the adopter's vet.

If you have a calm home, a kind heart, and the patience to help a shy pup discover that life can be pretty wonderful, Jonty just might be your perfect match. Sometimes the sweetest friendships start with a little trust and a lot of love. His minimum adoption fee is $400 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
