Meet Buford Beauregard, a sweet 7-month-old English Bulldog who just joined the rescue. This handsome young boy is still settling in, and we're giving him the time, patience, and care he needs to adjust and feel safe.

Buford is already showing us what a loving little guy he is. He just wants to be around his people, soaking up attention and staying close. He has a sweet, gentle, puppyish energy, and once he starts to feel secure, his snuggly side really comes shining through. He is house trained, using the puppy pads or going outside like a champ.

Like many dogs adjusting to a big life change, Buford is working through some separation anxiety. His foster family is helping him build confidence, learn the rhythms of home life, and understand that he is safe and cared for. He'll also be working on his leash skills and getting plenty of well-deserved pampering along the way.

He is great on car rides and reported to be okay with other dogs, but for now, his focus is on decompressing. Gradual introductions will happen once he's had time to settle in and show us more of who he is.

We're still getting to know this sweet boy and will share more as his personality continues to blossom.
