Nizzy is a 312-year-old Beagle/Dachshund mix with soulful eyes, a wagging tail, and a personality that's sure to win you over. At 21 lbs, she's the perfect medium-small companion-easy to take along on adventures but just as content curling up beside you at the end of the day. Nizzy is sweet, affectionate, and incredibly devoted to her people. Whether she's relaxing beside you on the couch, supervising household activities, or soaking up sunshine on the patio, she's happiest when she's close to her favorite humans. She loves attention, enjoys treats, and is a smart cookie who quickly learns routines and expectations. Like many hounds and Dachshunds, Nizzy is curious about the world around her and enjoys using her nose to investigate everything life has to offer.

Nizzy is house-trained, crate-trained, and rides beautifully in the car. She walks nicely on leash while wearing her special harness and is happiest when she's close to her people. At home, she has a cozy bed and crate of her own, but she's just as likely to curl up on the floor nearby to keep you company. She even has an adorable habit of snuggling underneath beds or chairs for a cozy little nap.
