Dachshund Dogs Available for Adoption in Lacon, Illinois

These pups were in foster and now waiting at the shelter. Robin is the dark one. Ted is the brindle baby behind bars. Both are currently about 7 pounds and bouncy, active babies. They are Dachshund mixes with a punch of energy. There is an approved application to look at both, but only one will be going home. No dog left behind. Come on- Who will come to the rescue this weekend? They are BOTH are at the shelter and waiting for forever homes.

The ARK does vet checks. To speed up the adoption process during open viewing hours, we encourage adopters to bring along copies of their vet records, which would include proof of spay-neuters, up-to-date on vaccines, and proof of heartworm testing and prevention for dogs.
