Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Lacon, Illinois

Kyle is a senior cat that was relinquished to the shelter in December. When we say senior- we mean super senior. He was born in 2013. His elderly owner needed senior care, and there was no one to take Kyle. He looks rough, but he is still mobile and deserves to live out his life in the comfort of a home. He searches for a soft, warm place to lie, but still has mobility to do curious cat activities. He is a sweet, senior boy. Medically- he is on a kidney care cat food and needs thyroid medicine daily, which can be successfully administered by crushing it up and placing it in his food. Please consider Kyle for adoption.

The ARK does vet checks. To speed up the adoption process during open viewing hours, we encourage adopters to bring along copies of their vet records, which would include proof of spay-neuters, up-to-date on vaccines, and proof of heartworm testing and prevention for dogs.
