This adorable dachshund/terrier mix is searching for a forever family after being recently returned through absolutely no fault of his own. His previous family loved him deeply, but with the kids heading off to college and long work hours leaving little time at home, they made the difficult decision to help Zeus find a family who could give him the attention he deserves.

Zeus is friendly, playful, affectionate, and wonderfully social. He absolutely loves playing with other dogs and has even done great around cats - his previous owner said he liked to play with them.

He’s already fully vetted and ready to go home today — neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, 4DX negative, protected with ProHeart 12, and on Bravecto for flea and tick prevention.

Zeus has already known what it feels like to be loved, and now he’s hoping for a forever home where he can be part of the family for good. His adoption fee is $300.

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225 . We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
