Dachshund and Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption in New Haven, Connecticut

Buddy is very sweet! He is a cute, low rider guy who is friendly, fun, and an overall well behaved boy. He is around 2 years old and around 25lbs. Buddy was found stray, without microchip and landed in a high kill shelter. We were happy to welcome this deserving boy into rescue. He has a sweet energy, is good with dogs of all sizes, and enjoys human attention, and hanging with his foster family. Buddy loves treats and takes them gently!
Buddy’s bio:
-age appropriate energy, loves to play, but also mellows out nicely
-great with other dogs in his foster home
-likes to be around people
-working on potty training and is doing well in his foster’s routine
-is great on leash
-does well in his kennel/gated area when home alone
-enjoys toys, bones, treats
-enjoys lounging in the yard and on his dog bed as well as playtime in the yard
-will make a great companion, and a great lap dog to a loving family
-does well on car rides to his vet appointments and errands with his foster
-did well for his grooming/bath
-is up to date on vaccines, spayed, dewormed, is on flea and tick preventatives, and microchipped
