Chihuahua and Dachshund Dogs Available for Adoption in New Haven, Connecticut

Chanel is happy go lucky, sweet and playful girl, with a unique look and friendly demeanor. She is around 17-20lbs, and is around 4 years old, is fairly quiet and has a nice, mellow side mixed with age appropriate energy. She was found stray, without microchip and landed in a high kill shelter. We were happy to welcome this deserving girl into rescue. She has a fun energy, is good with dogs of all sizes, and enjoys human attention and playing with toys!!

-working on crate training and is doing well, but also does well in a gated area

-enjoys lounging in the yard and on her dog bed as well as playtime in the yard
-will make a great companion and a great walking buddy to a lucky family
-does well so far on car rides to her vet appointments
-did well for her grooming/bath
-is up to date on vaccines, spayed, dewormed, is on flea and tick preventatives
